Meet the Artist

Charlene Sharpe was born on the island of Newfoundland and being a P.K. (Preachers kid) she moved around a lot. Some of the places are Cow Head, Fogo, Robinsons and Arnold’s cove where she graduated. She settled in McIvers.

Charlene started to paint when she was 19. She is a mostly self taught painter. Then she got married & had 3 children. She did take the time to practice her craft however.

To her surprise she became a professional artist. She was teaching painting, doing commission pieces and working on her own art.

In 2006 Charlene became a land locked sea lover. She and her family moved to Alberta and is glad to be there.

After a Hiatus Charlene is back in her groove and painting as much as possible.
